About this experience
Standing 1,200 m above sea level in the North Shore Mountains, Grouse Mountain, the Peak of Vancouver, is a year-round alpine escape just 20 minutes from downtown Vancouver, easily accessible by car, public transport or taxi.
As winter arrives, the mountain transforms into a winter wonderland, with mountain air, snow-dusted forests, light displays and seasonal experiences.
From 20 November to 24 December, celebrate the Peak of Christmas and discover the North Pole of Vancouver, complete with decorations, Santa’s Workshop and festive Christmas films in the theatre.
Ride the Red Skyride or Blue Grouse Gondola to enjoy views of Vancouver, the surrounding mountains and snow-covered valleys.
At the summit, explore snowshoe trails, stroll along the Light Walk or go ice skating at the outdoor rink.
After a day of winter adventures, warm up with delicious food, including comforting fondues, at Altitudes Bistro and The Observatory (at your own expense).
