Visit Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games and a **UNESCO World Heritage Site**.
Start at the archaeological site in the Peloponnese. Walk through ancient ruins and see the remnants of sacred temples, including the **Temple of Zeus**, known for its Doric architecture.
You'll also see the **Temple of Hera**, one of Greece's oldest monumental temples. Continue to the ancient stadium, hippodrome, palestra, and gymnasium where athletes once trained for the Olympic Games.
