Located on Saadiyat Island and designed by the late Pritzker Laureate architect Frank Gehry, the museum covers an area of 80,000 m2 and is inspired by Gulf architectural forms.
It features 30 galleries connected by a central atrium, with 11,600 m2 of interior gallery space and 23,000 m2 of outdoor exhibition space.
See 10 sculptural cones up to 88 m high, nine clad in stainless steel mesh, and one in onyx and glass, providing natural ventilation and shade.
