About this experience
Join a full-day trip from El Calafate to El Chaltén, the main trekking town in Argentina.
After hotel pickup, travel 220 km across the Santa Cruz River and stop at Parador La Leona for a restroom and snack break (at your own expense).
If the weather is clear, stop at the Viedma Glacier viewpoint to see the glacier, Mount Fitz Roy, and Cerro Torre.
In El Chaltén, inside Los Glaciares National Park, tour the town with a guide and take two walks. First, walk to Mirador de los Cóndores to see the mountains and look for condors. Next, visit the Chorrillo del Salto waterfall.
Have lunch at a local restaurant (if the option is selected) before heading to the waterfall.
